Campus Church

Dear Simes

On behalf of Campus Church I wanted to send a note of thanks for your generosity in providing our office with a photocopier! Can you thank the team on our behalf?

We're really appreciative of you thinking of us - and just so you know we're made good use of it already. Scott Mackay was over yesterday preparing a 'world view survey' for use on campus for the Christian Union and it was great for that.

Send our regards to the team at Simes with our thanks.

Warm regards

Nick Duke

Simes Multi-Sport Race

28 October 2007

Simes have been regular competitors in the Christchurch Multi-sport race with two teams entered by the company.

The event involves a gruelling 17km run from Cathedral Square over the Rapaki Track and the Crater Rim Walkway, with a sharp descent into Lyttelton. From there, there is a 30 km road bike up to Evans Pass, down through Sumner and onto Kerrs Reach. The final section is 6 km kayak up the Avon River, finishing at Victoria Square.

Simes first team completed the event in a creditable 3 hours, 9 minutes and 40 seconds to take out 6th place in the corporate teams category, with the second Simes team coming in 10th.

Typical of Simes, this was another team effort by valuers, commercial agents and the support staff.
