SAME GIRLS DIFFERENT LOGOS

METROPOL - The mother and daughter real estate team known in Christchurch as “The Grassam Girls’’ is preparing for the new business year with the usual energy and enthusiasm, but new branding.

With more than a hundred million dollars of sales success behind them, Pauline and Juline Grassam say their 25 years combined experience of selling real estate have been a blast and recently joining the Simes team gives them new opportunities. “The company has changed, the market has changed, but our service is just the same”, says Juline. ‘‘We make a great team and work really well together. Clients are often surprised by how quickly we return calls or get a sale for them, as one of us is always available and on the job.’’

“We are ‘people people’ and love finding the right home for people,” adds Pauline. “We find solutions and make people happy - that’s a great feeling. That’s part of the buzz we get from our work.”

The Grassam girls say their record of real estate sales has given them a formidable database, including a constant list of would- be buyers.

Their database is always being updated through referrals from satisfied clients, which means they can often match up vendors and buyers very quickly. They also have their own website (www.grassamgirls.co.nz) which profiles the properties they have listed, past sales, testimonials and newsletters.

The Grassam girls say the move to Simes is good for them and for their clients. ‘’We are now part of a bigger group,” says Juline, ‘‘which means more resources, more marketing and a wider range of services.”

The girls say Simes is an iconic Canterbury company with a long history and strong reputation in the real estate industry. They believe one of the company’s advantages is being a centralised and established business, rather than a franchised operation. “The Simes team offers more resources,” they say. “That’s great for our clients, because it means we can call on the experience of people in the Simes residential, commercial, property management or valuation divisions to find the right property for a client.”

But don’t expect this dynamic duo to become any less visible in a bigger company. ‘‘We both drive little bright yellow sign written cars. We wanted something noticeable and that’s what we’ve got. People know us, know what we do, know our track record and how much we love what we do. We also want to make sure they know we are now under the Simes banner.” Finding solutions is clearly what these girls do best - after all, they’ve consistently been in the top four sellers of their group, often at number one. Changing company doesn’t look like changing that successful track record any time soon.
